Pointly (“we”, “us”) provides an online planning poker tool for agile teams. This policy applies to the website and services available at https://point-ly.com.

• Account details — if you sign up, we store your display name and email address (for magic-link sign-in).
• Guest / anonymous usage — you can join rooms without creating a full account. We still create a session so you can participate and show a display name in the room.
• Room and estimation data — room settings, stories, votes, and participant presence needed to run a session.
• Technical data — standard server logs and connection metadata (for example IP address, browser type, and timestamps) generated while providing and securing the service. Our hosting provider may process this as part of operating the infrastructure.

How we use information

We use this information to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the planning poker service
• Authenticate you and keep your session secure
• Send magic-link sign-in emails when you request them
• Prevent abuse, debug issues, and maintain reliability

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use advertising trackers or third-party marketing analytics on the product today.

Pointly is intended for workplace and team use. It is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
